Job OpeningsAssistant Dean for Student ServicesPOSITION: The Assistant Campus Dean for Student Services is an administrator who serves as the Chief Student Affairs Officer and an integral member of the Student Services staff. The person in this position is the team leader for Student Services on campus, providing vision, leadership, and direction for all Student Services functions including enrollment management, academic and student support services, curriculum (on-campus and collaborative degree programs), financial aid, institutional research, registration and records, and student life. The Assistant Campus Dean for Student Services trains, supervises, and evaluates the performance of academic and classified staff in the Student Services Office. This individual reports to the CEO/Dean of the Campus. QUALIFICATIONS: Applicant must have a thorough understanding of a multi-faceted Student Services Office with a minimum of five years experience in higher education. This experience must include enrollment management, academic advising, and financial aid administration. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and management skills and the ability to work effectively with students, faculty and staff, and the community. A Master’s degree is required. Applicant must be computer literate and familiar with database management. THE CAMPUS: UW-Manitowoc, which is one of the 13 freshman-sophomore transfer institutions of the University of Wisconsin, is located on 40 beautiful acres along the shore of Lake Michigan on the southeast side of Manitowoc. With the completion of major renovations and the addition of a performing arts building, UW-Manitowoc has three, connected, multi-functional buildings, housing classrooms, science and computer laboratories, a student commons and cafeteria, a gymnasium, a 350-seat theatre, and a library. The campus serves over 600 students from the surrounding counties in a college environment that provides for small classes and individualized student attention. Manitowoc, along with the adjacent community of Two Rivers, creates a population of approximately 50,000 people. It is within easy driving of the urban centers of Green Bay and Milwaukee. SALARY: Compensation is commensurate with qualifications and experience; the minimum of the range is $63,483. An excellent benefits package is included with the appointment.
